Madrileño

I mailed Nuno asking him for his address and the easiest way to get to his place. This was his response

Paseo de la Habana 54, 5ºIzq.-1

As for the metro route, get the pink line all the way to Nuevos Ministerios and then change to line 10 (dark blue) heading north and leave immediately in the next station, Bernabeu.

As the name states, my house is just next door to the Real Madrid stadium!

Although I continue to fester a furtive passion for Barcelona, I don't know how I can come back from this visit without embracing my Castilian connection heart & soul.

While FC Barcelona plays monkey-money matches in Beijing, the Champions of Spain will be working hard in pre-season training, preparing to increase the already wide chasm between Madrid and Barcelona in terms of titles won.

Abhi don't spend too much time in the club store in the stadium, the main and bigger store is in the mall next to the stadium (2nd floor i think). Turn right along the stadium after you emerge from the metro station and turn left at a right angle along the road again along the stadium. It's just after the stadium. And do the tour, step on the pitch, sit on the bench... experience what people feel like to be a part of what is undeniably the greatest club in football history, one with not just style but also substance, heart, tradition, class and the biggest trophy haul in the world.

Hala Madrid!
