This time

A combination of bad timing and circumstances conspired to prevent me from taking up the Diploma de español como lengua extranjera or DELE exam twice last year. But this year the dates are out early and 11 de Mayo, come hell or high water I plan to get a diploma inicial en español como lengua extranjera on my resumé. Of course this will be secondary to the pleasure of actually talking in castellano to the pretty camarera at a café in Madrid.
