Remember?!

Musical Nirvana once again. Last evening Pablo and I saw something truly magical. We are very very lucky. We saw Remember Shakti.

For any lover of music whether classical or not, this concert was mindblowing. No more words because they prove futile and insignificant. I am just privileged to have seen these guys play 'live'.

Remember Shakti comprises:

• Ustad Zakir Hussain on the tabla and other percussion instruments
• "Mandolin" U Shrinivas on the electric mandolin
• V. Selvaganesh on the mridangam, ghatam and kanjira
• John McLaughlin on the electric guitar
• Shankar Mahadevan on vocals

:-) Yes it was as deliciously brilliant as the the line up sounds.
