Serendipity, still unfound

"Ask for forgiveness, not permission. Waiting for permission may mean missing opportunity or wasting your own energy. Think about what is at risk if you do something first before seeking explicit permission and if you can take that risk, go for it. You will find that you start to save time and energy while also creating more room for experiments and change.

"Inspire yourself daily and that means recognising that sometimes ice cream is all the leadership development you need and the best personal coaches are your friends."

A dear friend wrote this as part of her learnings and reflections. In this time of flux, I take strength from these words. And talking about drawing strength, only now have I begun to unravel the relationship that we lightly term as "friendship". Incredibly powerful bond this. I have to draw out a list...but I shall save that for a more appropriate time. For now: thanks. Again.

Taking the time to reflect on friendship - nothing like it to break a spell of the blues.

Bangalore needs you. So many beers wasted down the throats of shiny-shirted people at tavern tonight.

You said it sir. And yes I received 5 separate phone calls last night, all originated from the same table at Tavern :)
