Exercise

God knows I don't have time right now to breathe, let alone blog. Talk about biting off more than you can chew or as we would say Antes de te cases, mira lo que haces...but now that I have leaped the only thing to do is plunge plunge.

I just wanted to write about a startling (or hardly?) realisation which just struck me. Suddenly it feels like my thought processes & ability to construct a "mind map" of things has become a lot easier than it used to be. Could this be a direct benefit of having to study a language or simply because I have been exercising my mind in different ways over the last few weeks? I think its definitely been an offshoot of having to struggle with conjugating the infinitive at 7 AM each morning but also something that's come about because of a conscious effort to reflect, analyse, learn, introspect and learn more: putting all of this down with pen and paper. Catharsis but on a far higher level than I have ever experienced before.

As a wise old friend said to me recently, "the mind is like a muscle..." something we hear all the time but don't pay much heed to.

Estará bien...estará bien. Paciencia.
