For you, a thousand times....

Those are the words that haunt you as you read this marvel. Two marathon reading sessions in the last two nights of 3 hours each & I put down "The Kite Runner" by Khalid Hosseini in wonder & shock. Its been a while since any book has ripped my emotions apart like this one did. It leaves you laughing & warm at the wonderful Kabul of the 1970's, reproachful at times of the behaviour of the protagonists & shocked, betrayed almost at the treachery you encounter as the book progresses.

A tumultuous roller coaster of a book. One that will be a part of my library for a long time to come.
