At the Gym

So I was at the Gym yesterday running my now almost daily dose of 5 km. As is again now routine I had my ipod hooked on and was oblivious to the R&B rubbish being played in the gym. (I had on an entire playlist packed with DMB, Cure & Juanes) But I digress.

So I finished my run and was obviously pretty beat. And the guy who was running on the 'mill next to me smiles and introduces himself and says "nice run" I smile and say thanks. He then asks what I do so I say I work in a sports marketing company. He laughs and says "no wonder you're so fit"

That's when time sort of came to a stop for me...you know like in the movies or in a sit com...*Zippppp* silence

hahahahahhaha I then burst out laughing hahahahahhaha and said "Mate..i wasn't always like this" and walked away...he must still be wondering if I was nuts or just trying to jerk him around...I should have probably elucidated further on my statement of not always being like this

It was quite funny ..believe me. situational comedy people...situational comedy.
